How does A Home for Jolee help?
A Home for Jolee accepts grant applications from faithful members of the church of Christ who have already completed the home study process. Once the application has been submitted to AHFJ and approved by our Board of Directors, the fundraising support begins. We offer grants up to $5,000.00 based on the couples' financial situation. This money goes a long way in helping the Christian couple meet their financial adoption goals. Once the grant is given, we continue to support their journey by offering helpful fundraising advice as well as encouragement. We understand that the adoption journey, although exciting, is often extremely difficult for the couple. We want to be there every step of the journey and will be there to rejoice when the couple brings home their child.

Receiving this grant has been one of the greatest blessings we have ever received. Our adoption journey has had its ups and downs, and this grant has definately been a very positive, ecouraging part of our journey. One of the most difficult parts of adoption is the stress of wondering how you are going to pay for it all. I can honestly say as soon as I found out about receiving this grant, all my fears and stress about the cost were erased. It helped me to see how blessed Luke and I have been and are continuing to be throughout our adoption story. AHFJ has been a constant support, and we are extremely grateful.

The Gracie Gaines GrantA Home for Jolee Foundation is excited to be able to offer a grant in honor of the first beneficiary of this second grant.
In February 2019, Daniel and Tiffany Gaines brought home sweet Gracie. They were the first family AHFJ assisted with what was, at the time, unofficially known as "Grant 2" or our "Emergency Grant". This is a fund that we try to keep filled in reserve for families with urgent needs, such as an unexpected match or immediate travel needs. The Board is pleased to announce that this grant is now officially named in honor of Gracie and the donors who so quickly and generously came together to fill her grant. "The Gracie Gaines Grant" will be used to help meet urgent adoption expenses and is in need of regular funding to keep money available for these unexpected and sudden costs that arise with some adoptions If you would like to donate to The Gracie Gaines Grant, please go to www.ahomeforjolee.org/donate!" |
